anybody think the actual RC section was a lot harder than the experimental section? anybody else get really disappointed to find out they had just done well on the exp RC section only to find another RC section to do and then do a lot worse on it?

I didn't have exp RC, but I thought the RC was ok. Not easy and not hard.

I thought RC was kinda hard, and last two LG were definitely hard.

Exp RC was easier than real RC

I had three LR sections.

Started with RC, then three LR sections in a row, which was kind of brutal. Then the logic games.

My RC was harder than I was used to so that was disappointing. That's usually my strength on the test. I frequently get 23+ on that section in practice.

Two of the logic games were super easy, so that was cool. I think I got half of the third puzzle and then just filled in B's on the rest. That was my goal anyway; get 14-15 right for certain and hope for a little luck on the rest.

I frankly have no idea how I fared on the thing overall. I've had practice tests where I've scored as high as 165 but thought I did poorly and then the occasional disaster. One time I thought I killed it and ended up with a 141. That was a while ago, but no one's immune to a bad day here and there.

Oh, finally, the writing sample question was beyond lame. I don't know if it's permissible to discuss the specific topic so I won't, but I was hoping for something a little more lofty so that in case the scored part of the test went in the crapper I could at least demonstrate my writing skills. It was the worst one I've ever seen and I've seen a lot of them. Were I applying to get into a private high school as a freshman it would have been a worthy topic, but not for this test.

At any rate, I won't be surprised with a score in the 160s nor would I be floored at a showing in the 140s either. Obviously the latter would be disappointing but not shocking. And unfortunately I'm unlike everyone on the internet who takes the LSAT; I'm confident I didn't get a 178.
