I feel terribly for England's goalkeeper, as well as the guy from Denmark who made the header into the wrong goal.

You better pray for him. People get murdered for that stuff.

Case in point: Andres Escobar --> http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andr%C3%A9s_Escobar
Andrés Escobar Saldarriaga (13 March 1967 - 2 July 1994) was a Colombian footballer who was shot and killed in Medellín. It is widely believed that he was murdered due to his own goal in the 1994 FIFA World Cup, which caused gambling losses to several powerful drug lords.

There was another weak goal yesterday, I think given up by the Algerian keeper. It just went right by him!

I think they should follow the new rule the SEC just threw down for the cow bells at Miss. State....they can be used before and after games, at halftime and during timeouts. That's a legit way to keep the spirit going without interrupting the game.

Those things make the games sound like they're being played in the middle of a beehive.

Those horns make it sound a lot like being at a motorcycle race, are horrible and drive me frigging crazy.  I want to know who came up with the *bright* idea of selling those things to fans and have a little 'talk' with him to express my opinion fist to face, oopps, meant face to face, or did I?  And why on earth would the fans blow into those things non-stop during the games?  The sound has to be super loud and super annoying in person.
