February 2010 LSAT Scores will be released via email no later than March 1st 2010.

Keep in mind that is the deadline for release and LSAC typically releases scores before the date listed on their website.  The date listed is a 'drop dead deadline' that it has to be done by.

Use the Calendar button at the top of the screen to see other important dates and deadlines.

March 1? I was told that February test results would be within three weeks...that is closer to taking a month for a return in results.

I think he means that is the very last date that you would get your score. The chances are really good that it would come in earlier.

Three weeks from February 6th is February 27th, also a Saturday. The next business day after that is Monday, March 1st. So, saying March 1st isn't really out of line with what they said.

There is also this snow issue to consider. Even though they said it would only be a few weeks, they got closed down for a while like everyone else ion the East Coast. That could cause delays of up to a week or more.

 What he said

For many years LSAC has released scores prior to the listed release date.  As mentioned, the recent snowed in status of the area could slow it down, but who knows.  If recent history continues to hold true I would expect February scores to be released before next Monday.

The scores seem to consistently be released a few days (sometimes up to a week) before the "official" release date. Snowpocalypse scores may be delayed, but will still likely be released within the same timeline (i.e., 3-4 weeks, and then likely a few days before any "official" deadlines).

There's a good chance people will hear scores starting this Friday evening. That's what happened for the December test people.

That would be awesome. I'm sick of waiting to find out how I did!

Yeah, I wonder how much longer the snow-affected people will have to wait. I know someone whose makeup wasn't until this past Saturday (2/20), so if he has to wait as long as the regular test takers he's actually two weeks further back in the admissions cycle. Maybe that's just the luck of the draw, but it doesn't seem all that fair. For his (and others') sake I hope they expedite the scoring of the delayed tests!

I spoke to the Assistant Director of Admissions at University of Alabama yesterday, and asked her about this. She said that LSAC told them they would be speeding up the results of the cancelled LSAT peeps. For what it's worth, all the deans I've spoken to are being very understanding about this whole thing and are making exceptions for people who can prove they were part of the cancelled group. All the applicant has to do is contact the Admissions Office and let them know, and the school will keep their file open while they wait for the Feb10 LSAT score.

Re-post from the other related thread RE: people snowed out that had to wait for a rescheduled test date:

The time a few years ago when a bunch of east coast test centers were snowed out for a December administration and the test date was rescheduled LSAC scored the tests and got the results out in record time.

Even though people like to think that LSAC is an evil  Devil empire Light Saber , they really are not and actually bust their arses to do their best with everything for test takers, especially in unusual circumstances.

My heart goes out to everyone on the east coast in the regions that are still getting buried with snow.

Should we call Al Gore and ask him about that global warming thing?

I have a bunch of friends who took it in previous years and according to them it has always been released around 4pm ET the Friday before March 1st.  The weather, however, may be holding them down.  If we don't see anything by 5, I'd guess it'll be Monday.

Yeah, it would be today for sure if it wasn't for the snow. That makes it really uncertain. I'm checking my account every hour and after 6 I'm going to check it constantly.

I'm going to start drinking at 5:30, though, in case the news is bad. That way, even if scores don't come, I'll have a good time!
