Hi everyone....

I'm new here. I just feel curious about the representative of some countries of LSAC. What are the requirements that is needed to make one country become a representative of LSAC?

For example, country 'X' want to create a representative of LSAC in that country. So, what are the measurements or standards for that country to make it become LSAT center for country X?

Thank you for your attention:)

Are you asking what you have to do if you want to take the LSAT in a country that does not currently have a published test center? If that's the case, then you have to contact LSAC directly by calling (U.S. phone number) 215-968-1001 or by emailing LSACINFO@LSAC.org. There is a specific procedure that LSAC follows in order to set up a "nonpublished" testing center.

Check out page 13 of the 2009-2010 Law School Admission Book (click here for the PDF: http://lsac.org/pdfs/InformationBookweb.pdf); it goes into greater detail as to what you need to do. Good luck!

Hi Anne, thank you for your replying:)

I mean like this. For example, there is a company or education institute from country 'X' that wanna develop or establish a representative of LSAC in that country. So, what are the requirements that are needed? Maybe that country has to registered in LSAC first or maybe that institution has to have some criterias that make it acceptable as representative of LSAC for county X.

So, in conclusion, not about the students who want to take LSAT but in their country, there is no LSAC.

Hope someone can help Smiley

Thanks:)

Hey Test86,

You ask a difficult question because I don't think it's totally clear what you mean by "develop or establish a representative of LSAC in that country." Probably, you would be best served by asking LSAC your question directly.

Without really knowing, there seems like two possible relationships you could be asking about:

*To become an LSAT testing center in your country (this seems most likely what you are looking for)

Usually LSAC does this with schools in the area (that's how they do it in the US and Canada). But depending where you are, if you have an educational center, they might be interested. Remember that LSAC is a non-profit organization, so they don't typically partner with organizations looking to make a profit.

*To have the LSAT used as a standard in your country

LSAC has shown a recent propensity to attempt to establish the LSAT as an admission standard in new countries (see their work in Australia with Melbourne Law and also see the new LSAT India test). If you are from a law school in a country where the LSAT is not currently a standard, I'm sure they would be interested in talking to you about using the LSAT as a requirement for admission.

Anyway, talk to LSAC about it. I'm sure they will help if they can. Good luck!
