Yeah, if you've "just" begun preparing, how come in another post (http://www.lsatdiscussion.com/index.php/topic,2344.msg6757/topicseen.html#msg6757) you said: "Me personal like kaplan best. Most of my friends like Powerscore, but i found they cite too many types of question for LR. Its kind of impossible for me to master and remember in real LSAT place. As I said, its too complicated. Kaplan Gives me a lot of useful tips that i did not get from powerscore."

Could you be a shilling troll for Kap who has short-term memory deficiency?

 Welcome!

For LSAT Prep, do not go with Kaplan, Princeton Review, or any prep service that does not use real LSAT questions. I don't know if Kaplan has changed things up in the meantime, but last I heard, they are using fake LSAT questions Sad.

As for "real question" services...
BluePrint just had a "material theft" scandal related to TestMasters... it's R-rated in nature (!), so Google it if you want a good NSFW laugh. Due to this scandal, Blueprint has had some sketchy internal issues...

Testmasters is okay, but definitely check the location you go to. Some locations are better than others (Yelp is handy for this.) Their marketing is very slick, so don't believe everything you read about them.

As for me, I took a PowerScore class--- total ripoff. My score didn't increase at all (it went down), and I attended every class and did all the HW. I can't speak for the quality of their books, but as for their course... unless you really love cold, windowless classes and instructors who text during class, consider another prep program.

Hope this helps Smiley

I'm not clear if you are a Kaplan student, or are using published materials available in a bookstore.  If you are a student, then you have access to explanations of why the right answer is right (and why the wrong answers are wrong) for every question from every released LSAT in your online materials.  I do not know about other companies, but I have been teaching for Kaplan for approximately four years, and we use, teach, and provide real LSAT questions.  There are a few exercises on certain skills in which we supplement with non-LSAT materials, but what we cover in class and in practice are real LSAT questions, complete with explanations.

Every company out there is using real questions at this point. Some may use more than others, but most of the major companies provide the bulk, if not all, of the questions.
