iPhone LSAT Apps

That other topic got me thinking--are there any good LSAT applications for the iPhone? I searched but nothing jumped out at me as being highly rated or having a lot of downloads? Is there an app for that? lol
Or is it just a stupid thought because the LSAT is a paper test?

Well I tried a few different iPhone apps out when I was studying and, to be honest, I didn't find any to be all that helpful. As convenient as I thought it would be to have LSAT info on my phone, I ultimately found the apps to either be far less informative/comprehensive than a well-written book, and much less personalized/intuitive than a set of equally portable flashcards.
On a related note, I actually used PowerScore's LSAT Bibles to study and then made my own flashcards with drills, definitions, question types, etc. based on the content of those books. I loved the Bibles and the flashcards allowed me to have an easily-referenced study aid that was perfectly complementary to the techniques I was learning in the books. Might seem like overkill to some, but it worked well for me and I always figured better to do too much for this test than not enough!

Yep, it's absolutely horrible! You'd think apple would have some decent test prep apps out there.

You'd think so, but Apple probably saw how much they were going to charge and just signed off on them without looking at it. At least that's the only explanation I can think of!

It's both probably. I can't imagine how much time it would take to not only look over the code but also then look at the content. They'd have to have some LSAT expert there to say its good or not. I don't see that happening no matter how big Apple gets. Until then, the reviews of those apps are probably the best way to tell, but the reviews on most of those Watermelon ones are actually decent! That's how they got me

I've heard that some of the prep companies (I think it was BluePrint and PowerScore) have great podcasts, they should look into apps. I've also bought the Watermelon Express LSAT apps too and ended up just deleting them, they're just garbage, don't waste your money..

Just found this thread a few pages back...interesting.
I'm thinking about getting an iphone soon, so keep us posted if a good prep app comes out.

I looked into developing an LSAT iphone app, but licensing real LSAT questions made it pretty much cost prohibitive.

You could always go the Kaplan route and just make up your own....
