This game was very hard for me. Now that I'm looking at it, I still feel like it was a lot of work, but I feel like I'm missing something. Anyone got any tips on this one?

Tks in advance

I finally got a copy of that test a bit ago! A few things jump out about that game:

That first rule is very tricky. It doesn't mean that one of the windows is just GP; it means that one window contains at least GP, and there could be other colors there too. Really tough wording for them to use given the time pressure.

The last rule means that O or P is always used in a window (and maybe both). So every single window has to have an O or P, no exceptions. That's huge.

The third and fourth rules combine to force the deduction that Y --> P (Y can't be with O, and every window has O or P, so we know that when Y is used, P has to be used too).

I don't think this is a game where one inference rules the day; it looks more like you have to apply a lot if different pieces of info to kill off answers and confirm other. Not always (see #8C--got have O or P), but more often than not.

That game was BRUTAL! I'll never look at stained glass the same way again...will definitely be thinking evil thoughts if I step foot in a church with it!  Devil

i didn't have too much difficulty with that one -- got all the questions right.  SOMEHOW i missed the first questions for 2 of the other games  (the "which one of the following could be a complete list..." ones  Frustrated).  don't know what happened.  have never missed one of those. ever. I'm convinced i misbubbled.  that would have been the difference between a 169 and a 172. gahhh

That third game is hard too, though. Despite that, I agree that missing complete list questions isn't probably something that you miss too often, and that definitely could suggest a different cause like mis-bubbling. What does your score sheet show--were your answers one off somehow or did you flip answers on your sheet?

Not sure.  One of them was just one off, but the other was A-D.  However, it was the first question on the section, and I'd just had a brutal experimental section, so I'm pretty sure I was still getting over the shock of that.  Just kind of rough because that extra couple points could have definitely helped, and there's no reason I should have got those wrong

Kind of like you were just out of it and weren't focused, hence the mis-bubble? That does suck. It's like the LSAT is waiting at every turn to capitalize on any mis-steps.

Thanks for the help everybody. This game was tough and everyone was talking about it after the exam (not me, I just overheard people mentioning it). I think I panicked a bit and lost sight of what was really happening. But hey, that's why I canceled, right?
