I thought I would post a few of the sites I use most often when answering student questions about law schools, law school rankings, LSAT and GPA percentiles, and general law school information. These sites have been very useful to me, and I want them to very useful to others:

1. LSAC's Official Guide to ABA-Approved Law Schools - http://officialguide.lsac.org/release/OfficialGuide_Default.aspx
This is a fantastic starting point for anyone interested in applying to law school. It gives you basically all the numerical nformation you could want about all ABA-approved law schools, and then some.

2. U.S. News & World Report Law School Rankings - http://grad-schools.usnews.rankingsandreviews.com/best-graduate-schools/top-law-schools
Yes, everyone loves to hate them, but rankings should play SOME part in your law school search. This is a good place to start.

3. The Leiter Law School Rankings - http://www.leiterrankings.com/
Once you've taken a look at the USN rankings, go to the Leiter Rankings and get the real deal. This is a great and slightly more objective compilation of information, and provides a few really interesting lists (such as how many SCOTUS clerks have come out of which schools over the past 10 years).

4. U.S. News Law School Profiles/Interviews - http://www.usnews.com/education/best-law-schools/features/law-school-admissions
A great place to get specific info on different law schools, straight from the horse's mouth.

5. Internet Legal Research Group -- hat tip to LSAT Discussion moderator Jeffort for this one! - http://www.ilrg.com/
A lot of the same info that the LSAC Official Guide has, but sortable. And then it has a TON more info that can help you with your search.

Those are my five mainstays. There are a few other useful sites:

The American Bar Association (ABA) -- http://www.abanet.org
PowerScore's Law School Admissions Free Help Area -- http://powerscore.com/lsat/admissions/content_freehelp.cfm
PowerScore's list of ABA-accredited U.S. and Canadian law schools (useful because it's essentially a list of all law school websites) -- http://powerscore.com/lsat/admissions/content_schools.cfm

If anyone else has any other sites they use frequently, contribute them here!

Thanks for the reference, but just to make sure the historical record is accurate, I am the founder and creator of this LSATDiscussion.com forum.   Respect   I'd like that fact to be remembered, at least for posterity.

Picky verbiage. Smiley I'll amend: "hat tip to LSAT Discussion founder and creator (and perhaps Supreme Ruler of the known LSAT Universe?) Jeffort."

 Cheesy

I'm flattered by the additional title, but if I was the Supreme Ruler I'd have a Ferrari in the driveway of a big beachfront house with a killer ocean view.  Actually, I wouldn't go with a Ferrari like another LSAT test master did, too pretentious plus those things are a pain to drive and more of a pain to maintain.  I'd go with something more comfortable like a nice BMW or Infinity, most likely a new Q45.  Those things are pretty sweet and I loved the one I had before.
