Important October 2010 LSAT information!!  

The registration deadlines are approaching fast.

Regular registration deadline to take the October 2010 LSAT:  Tuesday September 7, 2010 (receipt deadline)

Late registration deadlines:

  • Late Registration by Mail:                           September 8–14, 2010 (receipt deadline)
  • Late Registration Online or by Telephone:    September 8–17, 2010 (receipt deadline)

Test Center Change by Mail, Phone, or Fax:     September 17, 2010 (receipt deadline)
Test Center Change Online:                            September 19, 2010 (midnight ET)
Test Date Change by Mail, Phone, or Fax:        September 17, 2010 (receipt deadline)
Test Date Change Online:                               September 19, 2010 (midnight ET)
LSAT Registration Refunds (partial only):         September 17, 2010 (receipt deadline)
Cancel Registration Covered by Fee Waiver:     September 17, 2010 (receipt deadline)

Yo, I second that. Whatever test you are taking, sign up for it as soon as possible. Sometimes test centers get full and then you are driving hours to get to the next closest one.

   The first Rule of LSAT Applications is Apply ASAP!

Yeah, test centers in major cities fill up early.  Waiting to register later rather than sooner can make it so you have to drive a long way to get to your test center.  I wouldn't want to have to drive an hour or more (I've heard of people having to drive 2+ hours to get to their test center because they waited until the registration deadline) before taking the test.  That would suck!  An hour or 2 drive can take energy away from you that you want to have for the test, not to mention the having to wake up earlier part to make the drive if you don't get a local hotel room for the night before.
