She went to Cooley...did she really think there would be jobs a plenty waiting for her when she graduated? I mean, come on.

I gotta admit, that IS one of my favorite parts about the whole thing.  Grin

Here's a quote from the article linked above, "She is also the self-published author of a book that encourages undergraduates to consider law school -- a fact that has outraged some of her online supporters who believe that part of the solution to the law employment crisis is to stop encouraging so many people to go to law school."

Is that hypocrisy I smell?

THE COOLEY RANKINGS STRIKE AGAIN! http://www.cooley.edu/rankings/

As for Zenovia, what a tool.  Looks to me like another run of the mill case of somebody trying to get their 15 minutes of internet fame, even though she had to and did totally misrepresent material things to do it.  Presenting an ongoing personal experience day by day as if it is real when it is fiction is fraud.  If she had included a disclaimer like you see on Law and Order episodes saying it doesn't portray any particular people or real events I'd be cool with it as fictional writing.  At least to grab a few headlines and get onto the news she didn't build a giant foil UFO looking balloon thing and claim a child might be inside it after launching it.

They counted stuff like seats in their library.

And it is their rankings; what else did you expect? I'm just surprised they didn't end up #1.

That would've been too obvious. I love that they went up from #16 in 2007 to #12 in 08. More card catalogs in the library? A better cooler in the cafeteria? Or did they finally cave in and give everyone a lock for their locker?

 Cheesy

It might be because they added more floor fans to the library to cool it down during the hot months.

I wish the link I have was still active.  During another Cooley fun fest discussion on another law school board several years ago a guy made a web page about Cooley, their library as it is used to calculate their self designated rank and floor fans.  It included charts and graphs and data from their own web page AND included pictures of inside their library taken over the course of over a year.  Apparently somebody involved in making fun of them lived nearby and kept going in and snapping pictures.

One year during the super hot times only 2 floor fans were spotted.  The next year during the same calendar weeks ~10 floor fans were spotted and photographed.  Their self reported ranking was higher in the second of those 2 years and one of the rating categories they reported a much higher score for was library facilities!

Oh yeah, a lock on the locker is worth at least 3 places higher in the rankings!

Well done on the shredding!
